Peak District Foodie Breaks

Chocolate making   Farm food breaks   Bee Keeping

We offer an exciting selection of short breaks:

We can organise visits to local food producers
and lunches at local farms for you.

Imagine visiting a local bee farm and donning a bee keeper's suit to get a really close up look at the life of our British black bee, or trying your hand at making some Champagne Truffles, or going on a guiided farm walk on a mixed livestock organic farm, or visit a local microbrewery to see how craft beers are made or drop in to one of our small bakeries and learn how to decorate a cake.

Following one of your visits you could try a delicious farmhouse lunch at a local farm, prepared using local ingredients, naturally.

Each local food producer experience lasts approximately 11/2-2 hours and most will include a short talk by the producer about their artisan food business followed by a demonstration of their craft, some hands on experience and some tastings (each food business is different so each experiences will be unique and may vary from the above, contact us for more information once you know what you would like to do).

  Handmade Sausage Experience  £20pp
